Welcome to Waredaca

Waredaca is a full service equestrian facility located in the Laytonsville area of northern Montgomery County, Maryland (outside of Washington, DC). Our rolling fields are home to approximately 90 horses.

We offer a wide variety of equine services including:

  • Riding lessons for all ages and skills levels
  • Stall or field boarding of your horse
  • Informal Schooling Shows for beginning competitors
  • Nationally sanctioned Eventing competitions
    (USEA Recognized Horse Trials)
  • Clinics and Camps
  • Cross Country Schooling on our renowned event courses, Elementary thru Intermediate

The University of MD Equestrian Team

UMD StudentsThe University of Maryland Equestrian Team is a club sport team which rides at Waredaca and competes under the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). Click here for more information.

Girl Scouts Badge Programs

Girl Scouts can work toward their Horse Lovers Badge at Waredaca. There is also a Brownie "Taster" program. Click here for details!
