The Area 2 Adult Rider program encompasses adult riders of all skill and experience levels. The program promotes education, sportsmanship and horsemanship skills. By providing riders with this chance to participate in a Training 3-Day and learn what is needed to succeed and be safe while competing, the program is fulfilling its obligation to the adult amateur.

More than 75% of USEA members compete at the novice and training levels, which are designed to introduce the sport to the first-time competitor. The USEA boasts approximately 14,000 members in the United States. Area II has over 3,000 members alone. Adult riders are economic forces in the marketplace and many are ordinary working men and women who love horses and love eventing sport.
