SUMMER AT WAREDACA

THIS SUMMER, LESSONS WILL BE OFFERED ON WEEKDAY EVENINGS AND SATURDAYS.

Our EIGHT-week Summer schedule of horseback riding classes will run over a nine-week period beginning June 16 and concluding August 16. The session fee is $272.

Complete payment for the session is required at the first lesson.  All classes will meet and ride from the Red Indoor Arena.  Private rates are $ 45/30 minute lesson or $55/45 minute lesson; semi-private rates for groups of two or three are $50 /each student/hour lesson.

CLASS REGISTRATION WILL BEGIN June 3rd.  Sign up then by calling the business office at 301-570-4191 AFTER 9:00 A.M.  Class confirmation for all activities will be assumed at the time of phone registration.

Regarding missed lessons, Waredaca offers only one makeup lesson per student per session; there is NO carryover of lessons between seasonal sessions.

Eventing …..

As many of you know, WAREDACA will hold two fall eventing competitions.  These events  feature  an equine triathlon of dressage, cross country jumping and show jumping.  This event is WAREDACA planned, organized, and executed with your assistance.  Guess what?!   We need you!!

Whether you are an experienced horse trial staffer or one who knows only the front end from the other end of a horse, your efforts are important .  We need volunteers to do many different things—build and paint jumps, score riders going cross country, help with hospitality for our judging officials, work with “numbers” in the results booth, park cars, and so forth.
