I teach 8th grade science at Redland Middle school. I specialize in teaching dressage to adult riders. My students like to do some showing but mostly they want to learn dressage in order to improve their relationship with their equine companions. I like to combine aspects of centered riding and natural horsemanship with dressage. I started riding at age 14 on a naughty POA, Micmac. I continued riding through college, marriage and two children on my generous Morgan, Albatross.  I have worked with Sally Swift and Susan Graham White and am currently learning natural horsemanship and western riding with Bob Ciri. Currently, my favourite pastimes are my family, skiing and riding and showing my sweet Arab gelding, Tiger. I am also an active member of the Potomac Valley dressage Association.
